CONGOLESE DINING EXPERIENCE WITH CHEF MICK ELYSEE

Following on from the sucessful release of his new cookbook, Not GuiltyChef Mick Élysée is bringing his unique take on Congolese cusine to Hoxton, on Saturday 3rd March, 6.30pm, at the Open Kitchen Bar and Restaurantwith a special 4 course gourmet dining event for one night only. Combining the methods and style of modern French cooking with the ingredients and flavours of his native Congo, guests will have the opportunity to experience Mick Élysée’s signature Afro-fusion cuisine. “I want people to know more about African cuisine, and the only way to make it well known is to keep moving. That’s why I’m doing pop-ups – I’m taking the food to the people.” On arrival, dinners will be welcomed with Mick’s signature appetizer, then will be taken on a culinary journey through Congo with an exciting 4 course meal. The event is organised in partnership with the Wonder Foundation and a portion of the profits will go to the charity and their causes.
