Every weekend in East London, Lemlem Kitchen, delight customers with their menu, as classic East African Eritrean flavours are given a modern streetfood twist! However, for one night only, on Wednesday 29th November from 7.30pm – 11.00pm, Lemlem Kitchen will host a Modern Eritrean Cusine Supper Club and they have have taken some of their favourite Eritrean dishes and given them a contemporary twist – “whilst the flavours will be traditional, we will be presenting them very differently from those you would usually find.” The 4 course menu will include: Beles – prickly pear cocktail, Kitfo Lemlem – dry aged fillet tartare, Naytsom Bebiaynetu – vegetarian fasting combination, Beg’ey Tsebhi – braised lamb, injera and Kemem Shahi – spiced tea ice cream, panettone, for dessert. Vegetarian options are available and you need to specify on booking. If the last supper club I attended is anything to go by, this is not to be missed! Tickets cost £36 and include a four course meal + a welcome drink on arrival. There’ll be a pay bar operating during the evening with cocktails, wine and beer. For more information and to purchase tickets go to eventbrite.co.uk.
